QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants need to have a Grade 12 certificate and a national diploma in labor relations, labor law, or human resource management.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a Labor Relations or Labour Law environment is required at the junior administration level.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the expeditious finalization and decision of grievances.
Investigate all grievances, publish tips for the mandate to the line manager, and make hints to the accounting officer.
Monitor implementation and adherence to the prescriptions governing grievances.
Ensure an advantageous recommendation towards the resolution of grievances.
Manage and make certain on-the-spot referrals of grievances to the Executing Authority and Public Service Commission (PSC) when necessary.
Ensure and display the implementation of the effect of grievances.
Provide environment-friendly and positive recommendations on criticism and complaints.
Communicate the results of the criticism to the aggrieved employee.
Manage the criticism process and ensure that PERSAL is kept up to date on the results.
Supervise subordinates (assistant directors, human resource practitioners, interns).
Manage and furnish aid for the fine resolution of disputes.
Represent the department at conciliation and arbitration setdowns.
Obtain a mandate and/or negotiate a contract settlement to get to the bottom of a dispute, if applicable.
Identify instances that want to be dealt with via legal services or an outside carrier, provider, or counsel.
Ensure perfect education and presentation of instances through the team.
Manage the immediate finalization and decision of misconduct cases.
Opening and filling of misconduct files
Facilitate the finalization of disciplinary instances and make sure that they are finalized inside ninety calendar days.
Investigate and produce nice reports.
Ensure the implementation of the result of a formal and informal disciplinary process.
Supervise, monitor, and make sure the implementation of the results of formal and informal disciplinary processes.
Provide environment-friendly and superb recommendations on disciplinary matters.
Capture instances on Personal.
Supervise human resource practitioners and interns.
Draft quarterly reviews and memoranda to the Department of Public Service and Administration, PSC, and inside month-to-month reports.
