VACANCIES, GRADUATES, BURSARY, IN-SERVICE, AND VACATION WORK.

Please refer to the guidance below to determine what applies to you as a person wishing to join WBHO. The general instructions for where each pertinent application should be submitted are listed below. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.

BURSARY

Students who wish to apply for a bursary for financial assistance during the course of their undergraduate degree. Individuals applying should be enrolled at a recognized university.

Bursaries for the following disciplines are accepted:

Bsc / BEng Civil Engineering
Bsc Quantity Surveying
Bsc Construction Management

VOCATION WORK

Students who wish to apply for vacation work during the holiday period should currently be registered at a recognized university, and practical training is a requirement of the qualification, usually to be completed for 6 weeks and/or 180 hours. Please note that vacation work is provided to external students should there be availability to accommodate students on site.

Vacation work for the following disciplines / qualifications is accepted:

BEng / Bsc Civil Engineering
Bsc Quantity Surveying
Bsc Construction Studies / Construction Management

INSERVICE TRAINING

Students applying for in-service training should be enrolled at a Technikon university and are required to do practical training for 6–24 months to complete their qualification. Please note that in-service training is provided should there be availability to accommodate students on site.
