Planner Clothing – (Talent Pool)

Job Advert Summary

Manage the delivery of profitable, productive stock. To deliver sustainable sales performance through effective planning in line with clothing division KPIs to achieve maximum profitability. Train and support planners and allocators.

Minimum Requirements

  • BCom Degree
  • 3 -5 years of Clothing Retail Planning experience
  • Computer literate (Windows – Outlook, Work, Excel)
  • Willing to work long hours as required and do store visits
  • Experience in a clothing retail environment and SAP knowledge are advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning seasonal sales budgets by category
  • Implementing the economic and financial objectives with the Buyer to achieve set budgets
  • Input into a set of correct pricing architecture
  • Producing acceptable assortment plans and controlling of overall department margin in line with the strategy and achieving budget
  • Constant tracking and monitoring of implementation by analyzing weekly reports, managing stock requirements, evaluating fast and slow sellers, and reacting accordingly
  • Effective preparation and planning for promotions and markdowns
  • Willing to work long hours as required and do store visits
