Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has amazing opportunities in our manufacturing and technical departments. We are looking for young, talented people for Packaging learnership opportunities at our various regions in CCBSA. The successful applicants will report directly to the training controller.
KEY PURPOSE
This qualification will contribute to the full development of the learner within the food and beverage packaging environment by providing recognition, further mobility, and portability within the field of beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods environment. Learners will complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
LEARNERSHIP:
The learner will be exposed to:
- Bottling processes and procedures, Safety and housekeeping standards
- Quality tests and specifications and Food handling practices
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interact well in teams
- Ability to work effectively in teams
Skills, Experience and Education
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences passed with 40%
- Two South African Languages passed with 40%
- Must not have previously completed the same qualification or apprenticeship at another company or organization
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a South African Citizen and Must be an Equity candidate
- Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment and Must be between 18-35 years of age
- Candidates must be willing to commit to 12-month learnership program
General A learner embarking on this qualification needs to obtain a minimum value of 120 credits to qualify for the qualification; this learnership runs over a period of 12 months.
