Job Description: Be a part of the pilot team for the Dis-Chem Pharmacy Cosmetics Retail Learnership taking place in branches around Middleburg. All you want is a matriculation qualification and a passion for beauty, cosmetics, and sales. The management will be based solely in the cosmetics department, where incumbents will be groomed to become Cosmetic Sales Consultants. Minimum Requirements: Matric – Grade 12 and or Higher Certificates with a minimum of 50% for Math Lit. Passionate about cosmetics and beauty. Willing and in a position to work retail hours. Computer literate in Microsoft Office package deal (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). The previous working trip inside the retail industry. Driver’s License and personal transport. SAP experience.
Key Duties: Assist with the loading and off-loading of inventory and unpacking inventory as it arrives. Handle all merchandise cautiously to prevent any losses. Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous help and recommendations to all customers. Demonstrate merchandise through makeovers, beauty demonstrations, spray promotions, or other activities. Maintain expired and broken inventory by adhering to inventory rotation techniques and procedures.
Assist with the counting of inventory documents and ordinary stock-taking when needed. Present shows in a pleasing manner. Ensure full degrees of merchandise are on the cabinets at all times. Report low inventory levels, objects that are out of inventory broken stock, and expired inventory to management. All out-of-stock queries from clients ought to be accompanied by the patron provider’s out-of-stock list.
